About James Cargo

James Cargo Services Ltd was Incorporated in 1984 and has been Trading since 1980.

We supply a world-wide freight forwarding network to major clients, which includes a customs clearing and delivery service. The forwarding services include import and export of cargo by sea, air and road. Ancillary services include Warehousing / Packing / Cartage.

Having established ourselves as movers of general cargo around the world we recognized the increasing need for the international relocation of animals. All of us being animal lovers, found it necessary to establish a dedicated team to take care of this. More recently we have opened our motorcycle shipping, motorbike shipping department. So whether you are moving general cargo, project cargo or livestock we have a team of experts who can help. Based in the heart of Heathrow Cargo Complex, we are within easy reach of all major airlines/ warehouses. We have direct links to the customs clearance computer (CHIEF) and all major airlines computers through our own in house computer system.

We are represented internationally in all of the relevant major trading centres through our network of selected agents around the globe. As a major participant in the transportation of cargo and live animals James Cargo Services are committed to a high degree or professionalism and as such are members of the following regulatory bodies:-

  • British Institute of Freight Forwarders (BIFA)
  • Department of Transport Security Approval (No.240)
  • QMS Standards Accreditation (ISO 9002)
