Birds of Prey move complete

In June 2007 JCS Livestock was instrumental in the movement of 190 birds of prey from the USA as the International Centre for Birds of Prey was relocated to the UK. Since then the birds have been housed in a couple of locations as the Centre has been refurbished to its previous state (the Centre was originally in the UK prior to its temporary home in the US). At the end of last month JCS staff helped to relocate the final birds to their new homes at the International Centre for Birds of Prey, moving the eagles and vultures to Newent to complete the collection. Native dog breeds risk extinction

One of Britain's oldest native dog breeds - the English Setter - is at risk of extinction, says the UK Kennel Club.

Here's a star dog! Timber came in today on the way to California, she was lovely!

Here's a Grey Owl that came in last week. We've been really busy with pets, but we're still keeping track of our zoological shipments!

Our Okanda: We thought you would all like to know Okanda has arrived safe and sound in his new home and is settling in well. One of our keepers accompained him on his travels and we must say a big thank you to Stena Ferries and JCS who treated Okanda (and our keeper!) as a VIP the entire journey. Taking great care of their precious cargo. Thank you also to the Stuttgart team who will now be looking after our okanda.
